Colombo – The Department of Examinations announced the dates for the upcoming GCE Advanced Level (A/L), Ordinary Level (O/L), and Grade 5 Scholarship examinations through a press release issued by Examinations Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara yesterday.
A/L 2024 Exam date
According to the press release, the GCE A/L examination will be held from November 25 to December 20, 2024.
O/L 2023 Exam date
The O/L examination is scheduled earlier from May 6 to May 15, 2023.
Grade 5 Scholarship exam 2024 date
The Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, which allows gifted students to gain admission to prestigious national schools, will take place on September 15, 2024 (Sunday).
The Examinations Commissioner General emphasized the importance of these national level examinations and urged students to adequately prepare to face the exams confidently. He further extended his best wishes to all students sitting for the exams in 2023 and 2024.
