Astrologically, the New Year (Aluth Avurudda) symbolizes the transition of the Sun from Pisces to Aries.

At 8.06 pm on Wednesday, April 13.
Start work, transactions and partaking of meals:

Anointing of oil and bathing:
At 10.41 am on Saturday, April 16, facing the west wearing blue
Leaving for work:
