Career and Higher study options after A/L – free seminar after 2012 exams

Exams are finished, so what can you do now? To answer this question studentlanka organizes a free seminar on Career and Higher education options after A/L. This is an annual event organized in collaboration with Young Biologists’ Association, Sri Lanka. This is especially targeted for students who have completed GCE Advanced Level examination in 2012 August.




Aim – to give accurate and unbiased information on selection of degrees, courses and careers after GCE Advanced Level examination, especially if you are not selected to a course in a National University.

This will be held on 5 September 2012 (Wednesday) at 2.45 pm at Mahaweli Center Auditorium, 93 Nelum Pokuna Mawatha, Colombo 7, Sri Lanka. (Close to National Museum, and Public Library, Sir Marcus Fernando Mawatha).

Mr Ajth Jayawardene
Career Guidance Counsellor, Career Guidance Unit, University of Colombo
He has a vast experience Career Guidance to university undergraduates, and he has also involved in School Career Guidance Programme organzied by University of Colombo in collaboration with Ministry of Higher Education.

Prof Hiran Amarasekera, Professor at University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Nugegoda. Patron of Young Biologists Association.
