Sri Lanka Foreign Service Jobs for Graduates

Closing date of Applications for 2017 batch: 17 April 2017

If you have a degree from a recognized University, or a foreign degree recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) you can apply for Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of The Sri Lanka Foreign Service.  You should be between 22 to 32 years of age. Public servants below 40 years of age can also apply for this examination.

Members to the foreign service are selected once in few years by an examination. The selected candidates will follow a training program at the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute and the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration. Foreign service also has similar recognition to  Civil Service officers, however Foreign service officers are dealt with foreign affairs.
