GCE Advanced Level 2011 examination starts on 08 August 2011, according to the time table released by Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka. This year there are two examinations: New syllabus and for Old syllabus.
Science subjects (combined mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry) for both new and old syllabus start from 8 August, Commerce subjects (Economics, Business studies, Accounting) also start from 8 August, Major Arts subjects (Logic, Sinhala, Political science, History, BC, Geography) start from 15 August.
General English Papers I and II are on 20 August, while Common General Paper is on 8 September (Saturday).
